Where is my Federal refund?

If 8 weeks have elapsed and you have not received your refund, call (800) 829-1040.  Individual tax returns filed for a refund this year (or the last six months of last year) can be accessed through "Where's My Refund?". You can check on the status of your refund 7 days after you e-file. If you filed a paper return, allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing before checking on the status.
